Public Notice – RESQ Food Truck

RESQFoodTruck LLC wishes to inform our customers, partners, and community of ongoing legal matters involving former business partner Romeo Arellano.

 Documented Facts:

 

  • RESQFoodTruck LLC invested over $88,000 into startup operations, including the purchase of a company pickup truck and trailer.
     
  • Mr. Romeo Arellano unilaterally sold the company’s pickup truck to Carvana in July 2025 without authorization or knowledge of his partner.
     
  • Proceeds of the sale — approximately $30,000 — were not returned to the company or its managing member, He embezzled the money for personal gain.
     
  • A formal Demand Letter was issued by the company on July 28, 2025, followed by a separate Demand Letter by RESQFoodTruck LLC’s attorney on August 18, 2025. Both remain unanswered.
     
  • A police report has been filed with Hardyston Police Department
     
  • Mr. Arellano also filed a fraudulent unemployment claim with the NJ Department of Labor, despite never having been on company payroll or receiving W-2 wages.
     
  • Mr. Arellano has a documented pattern of neglecting his other business obligations, including Got Bins LLC, where he failed to maintain compliance and tax filings.
     
  • Mr. Arellano is also the defendant in a civil collection lawsuit by Citibank in Sussex County Court (Docket No. DC-003901-24) for approximately $13,000 in unpaid debt, further demonstrating a pattern of financial misconduct.
     
  • RESQFoodTruck LLC is seeking recovery of approximately $40,000 owed to the company, plus damages and legal fees associated with these breaches.
